 This power plant is the first large-scale solar power plant in the country, and with its operation, Mobarakeh Steel will practically achieve green steel production, and 6 out of our 8 steelmaking furnaces will operate on green energy. In another part of his speech, Khosravanipour referred to the water transfer project from the Sea of Oman, saying: With the operation of the new water transfer schemes, Mobarakeh Steel will no longer need to withdraw from the water resources of the Zayandeh Rood and the surface waters of the province.

In fact, Mobarakeh Steel is now completely self-sufficient in terms of water and energy supply.
