Increased Productivity at Mobarakeh Steel with the Design of a Smart System for Identifying and Preventing Ergonomic Risks

Mobarakeh Steel’s Smart System for Identifying and Preventing Ergonomic Risks was selected by the World Steel Association as a top innovative action in occupational health and safety in 2025. This system utilizes Artificial Intelligence and existing cameras in the workplace to automatically analyze the movements and postures of employees during work. If an individual is in an unsuitable or high-risk position, the system detects and issues an alert, allowing necessary corrections to be made before an injury occurs. 
The gathered data is automatically recorded on a management dashboard, enabling experts to instantly review the status of various units and make decisions. This contrasts with the past, when ergonomic reviews were conducted manually and were time-consuming, with each assessment taking approximately 25 minutes per person. Furthermore, simultaneous monitoring of multiple individuals was not possible, and many issues were only identified after an injury had occurred. 
Now, with the Ergonomica AI system, this process is carried out intelligently, swiftly, and continuously. Experts can monitor the status of employees through live images at any moment and initiate preventive measures sooner. This has significantly led to a reduction in musculoskeletal injuries and an increase in human resource productivity.
